hello, i am back fixing this dam car again, long story short my heater core busted, tore it all down put it back and it doesnt want to ready. everything else works except ready and the obd. i am suspecting it has something to do with this unplugged connector. i have no idea where it goes. thanks.
I think there are very few of us that have ever removed the dash. Its possible that connector is for a module you don't have. Given it is a two wire connector with a given shape, I might spend a couple of hours reviewing the wiring diagrams for that connector and then find where it has a single white/black and a black wire. Short of that, you might want to diagnose the obd2 (dlc3) problem which needs repair anyway and could lead to the issue. Power and ground and the CAN bus would be my focus.
