Purely speculating, I’ve used MAF cleaner, but have not found definitive blessing for its use. Doesn’t help that MAF and MSP are so close, throws off search results. Seems to be a dearth of info.

So just would like to clarify on my end that I have NOT attempted to clean the MAP sensor at all. The only thing I've done is removed it in regards to cleaning the throttle body, but that's it. If anything, I've been doing research and finding MAP sensors for either around $30 or $300. Now naturally the Denso brand in itself is $300, but I just can't seem to understand how a MAP sensor is literally 100x the cost overall of a MAF sensor, especially when they're around the same overall size. I totally understand that they serve different purposes however.

First thing on my mind here is I'm not sure I've ever heard of a MAP sensor needing anything. If you have a scan tool that can show live data, and your MAP reading sort of matches your local weather station barometer when the engine is off, and looks somewhere near 30 kPa (or 4ish psi) when the engine is idling with EGR off, then it would seem to be doing its job just fine.

Found the MAF sensor (I think), here, and believe Denso part no is 22204-28010. On Toyota USA parts the suggested retail price is $319.02 USD, Dealerships typically discounted, for 10~20%. So maybe $285 USD through dealership. One hundred times that would make for a VERY expensive MAP sensor. ;)
