First Tornado Watch

Just got home and found my recycle bin a block and a half down the street.

 

Lots 'o friends & fam in Iowa and Minnesota.

Sent out a "prayers be with you" text this morning, but nary a peep.

I've already had my first two tornado watches for March, and my backup phone/internet is now rated for multiple squall lines with 60mph gusts.
Being a ROAM system, it has less sail area and I can remove it with a step ladder if more robust storms threaten.

If you have a storm room, toss a police whistle inside so that you can alert first responders if your house become a debris pile and you can't get the door open. They're cheap and they work when (not if) local towers go down.
My CFO also keeps her old MC helmet stored there.
