Here is some madness and not necessary to identify the person who said it.

"Really, I'm demanding that these countries come in and protect their own territory, because it is their territory ... they should help us. You could make the case that maybe we shouldn't be there at all, because we don't need it. We have a lot of oil."

this was our 2nd Montana home (sold ~16yrs ago) built late 1800s.

New owners painted it Battleship Gray-blue.
    What a money pit.

So yeah we've seen TONS of CHANGES over the decades.

To stay on the topic of vaccines, a ramblin’ man wonders what the two Fords were with a sign behind and between them? Was this your new car dealership stock? Or they could be rental cars. In 75 years there will be pictures of people today with unknown responses of those in the future. Maybe “they used to have their own transportation before the war and great evening, and had so much compared to now.”

I think it's always been this crazy, it's just the connectivity to all the information that makes it seem worse.
Before it was difficult to get contrary information, like word of mouth or a hard to find book or magazine, now it's the world's largest library instantaneous at your keyboard

We started out with pen-an-ink, eight o’clock day one, in grade two. I kid you not. But a month or so they switched us to ballpoints, that looked near identical.

Seems to me that if people really knew how vaccines WORK we would not keep getting the Persian Gulf Flu......

If true - that's WAY COOL !! maybe i'll grab a couple more inoculations.

in truth - we actually did get the original vaccine, & there was no data as to whether or not it was perfectly safe to take the (double shot) 2nd version of the vaccination. But having had a really horrible experience getting shingles - the possible risk seem to be WAY outweighed by the benefit.

Maybe that explains some of the fishing expeditions about vaccines are harmful, since they aren’t getting vaccinated.

Or maybe...just keep getting shots that don't work. Still have yet to get anything the MMR vaccines prevented through. Got my COVID shots and only caught it 3 times. Go figure.

If you really still have yet to ever 'get' M or M or R, then the MMR vaccines have never had a chance to 'prevent' anything in the first place. Your immune system does not attack pathogens outside of your body.

On the other hand, if you ever did 'get' M, or M, or R, and the symptoms were so greatly reduced you never even noticed, then those vaccines did a great job.

How noticeable your symptoms get before your immune system wins depends on a lot of things, like how many of the pathogen you were exposed to, how closely it resembles what the vaccine primed you for, and so on. Winning so fast you never even notice the fight is great. Winning after a brief fight that you notice but not nearly as bad as it could be is still, um, nothing to sneeze at.

With the COVID vaccines, I have had a few cases that I noticed, enough to pull out a test kit and go "yup, that's COVID". I don't know how many exposures I've had where I won before noticing any symptoms at all, and I don't know how many of the times I had, like, sniffles for a day and wrote them off as my usual allergies might have been my immune system fighting off COVID instead. I haven't had any cases that got anywhere near difficulty breathing or systemic complications.

    That pleases me.
