I bought a 2012 prius that has the abs light/traction control. The man took the car to both the dealership and a private mechanic. Dealership says it needs brake booster assembly eith master cylinder and the the brake booster. The private mechanic said it needs brake master cylinder and modulator sold separately but all one unit.

Im fairly mechanically inclined so i watched some videos and said i think i can tackle this. The only part that is confusing to me as that toyota lists the part numbers as 2 separate parts for the brake booster assembly with master cylinder, it has an old part number (47050-47180 AND 47050-47190) and new (04008-11347 AND 04008-11447). Then But in all of the many videos I've watched, only 2 parts are being replaced. So my question is am I actually needing to purchase 3 parts or is it vin specific which one if the part numbers I should order under the brake booster assembly with master cylinder?

Provide the VIN to the Toyota parts department. They will provide the correct parts
    for YOUR car.
One part assembly includes the master cylinder. The other assembly is the pump.

You will need Techstream, a D8, or other Diagnostic computer to bleed and set them up.
