Hi all, Recent owner of a 2018 Prius Business Edition - United Kingdom Before this, I have daily driven an LS400 for the last 10 years, so the fuel efficiency is a welcome change I have just performed a full service on the vehicle, and I want to reset the oil maintenance. The light wasn't on presently as it is not due. It's a new car ritual for me Looking online, it suggests going into vehicle settings via the DPAD and accessing the "maintenance system" However, this is not listed its only TPMS (listed) for reset Is this because the car believes it isn't due yet, and the warning message isn't showing? Or it's a different procedure for a UKDM car? (videos mainly USA) I have had a look at a couple of budget OBD2 tools to sort this out. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance Samuel
Look on your radio/nav head unit screen menu for Apps then Maintenance. it gives you a list of services to track by km or time and reminds you of upcoming items.
I would do nothing, till the light did come on, then turn it off. It's a simple mileage counter, nothing more. Just keep a log of what you did, the date, the miles, and save any receipts. FWIW, We don't have anything of the sort on Canadian spec Prius..
You should go on-line and download the UK ops. manual for your car. Just because the car came from the same OEM, doesn't mean that they all operate the exact same way.
Years back I tried searching for the Toyota UK maintenance schedule, drew a blank. FWIW, I've attached the Toyota USA 4th gen Prius schedule, a spreadsheet summary I just cobbled:
