B, Would you consider a 2025 or are you waiting for the 2026 model?

I recently signed up with the Costco Auto program just to test it out. i was wondering if anyone has any experiences with Costco as far as pricing of cars that are in high demand such as the RAV4 Plug-in? I just wonder if they would also add a premium over MSRP like most dealers.

I had to temporarily pick the 2025 from Costco’s list since 2026 was not yet available. I got a call from the dealer and their job was just to find the car of your choice in their inventory and then send the info to Costco who will then determine a no haggling price!

    thanks!
I would consider a '25, depending on price, but if they aren't giving much off, I'd rather wait.

Hopefully, it will be more aerodynamic than the current generation (cd = 0.31).

A hatchback would be nice if it's not longer overall. Any word on when the 2027s will be available?

“TO YOU” is now TOYOTA’s new slogan.

Toyota has confirmed that there will be a BEV Corolla. The following news article has the latest 2027 Corolla rendering:

    Is the Corolla “for All”?

Since its birth in 1966, the Corolla has been loved in many countries, and it may well be a car that embodies the concept of “for All.”

However, even just looking at the domestic Corolla lineup, it wasn't always a sedan. There were coupes, hatchbacks, and wagons as well. (Of course, some of them didn't sell well.)

Even when venturing outside of Japan, it has adapted to the lands of other countries.

The Corolla is a car that has consistently delivered on the demands of the times and the roads we travel.

When I spoke to people on-site, they said that the planning and development were progressing with the goal of "making the future Corolla a car that will be in demand by a wide range of customers in various countries."

So, does this mean that the Corolla is aiming to be a car that covers the lowest common denominator, a car that's good for anyone, anytime, anywhere? Not exactly.

For example, as Toyota often uses when explaining its multipathway strategy, energy conditions vary from region to region. Even within the same city, some people may find BEVs (battery electric vehicles) more convenient, while others may find HEVs (hybrid electric vehicles) more convenient. There are still many places where it's impossible to live without a gasoline car.

Regardless of energy or living conditions, we want to create a Corolla that someone would want to drive. More precisely, we want to develop the ability to efficiently produce and generate revenue from them.

This is the development plan for the Corolla.

The underlying idea is “Mobility for All.” However, when it came time to actually start thinking about "cars," the perspective shifted from “for All” (the greatest common denominator) to thinking with each individual customer in mind—in other words, a “TO YOU” perspective.

The team that created the brand concept also visited the development site of another car.
