It's your Country...perhaps you should give us the facts...as you know them.

 

Giving us the facts seems a lot like what tochatihu just did ... relying on an article from a satellite-data company that seems to be in Queensland, Australia, so maybe not even anything cooked up in what you keep wanting to call 'his' country.

That doesn't mean all the facts can come from there ... if post #600 was based on some understanding of facts other than what we can read in #601, then where that other understanding came from is a fact that probably only hill can reveal.

We've had our own failures on gravity dams but if this one goes? It will take the cake.

Chalk up another one for the Chicoms & their own special variety of incompetency, graft, fraud, & kickbacks - except the impact will be in the millions if/when it fails - not that it already hasn't been - in some regards with all the people they've had to evacuate - once they began flooding for the needed reservoir. Yet our beloved expatriate - still loves to instead, extol the lack of virtues in our own capitalistic system. Oh the irony.

US' capitalistic system has many virtues. It is unfortunate when it fails at implementation. It might be ironic for people to turn blind eyes at that.
