    Yes; I've been reading about having to be careful shuffling money around on medicare. Take too large of a withdrawal from your IRA or sell your house can trigger a large reduction in benefits, higher out of pocket, for a few years.

    Trying to be proactive - we shoveled our SEPs & Ira's into Roth - then took a couple $7,500 tax credits on plugins years ago. Ever since, it's grown tax-free (a lot of it was dirt cheep early Tesla). Now when we withdraw from thr Roths - it doesn't affect IRMA for those who know how you can be forced to pay extra for your Medicare.
