    Hello,

I’m a student in Industrial Design at the University of Houston. I am working on a group project that deals with designing the interior of a car for the near future. Our target car type is MPV’s and we are emphasizing Eco friendly design. Even if you don’t drive a MPV your input would be greatly appreciated. We are trying to get a better idea about who currently buys these types of cars and what they use them for. We have created a survey that will hopefully give us a better understanding of the current users and help us design a car interior that will be appealing to your lifestyle. So PLEASE take a few minutes to complete our survey, we really appreciate it!!

To take the survey click this link:

    Thanks

I have posted this on a few other forums and some of them think its spam. I assure you I am truly a student and really need people to do my survey to help us with this project. You are never asked for you email address or anything like that.

If anyone has completed my survey, please post a reply so other people know its legit.

    Thanks

I completed most of the survey. It's not spam, but not what I expected.

I took it too, and simply didn't answer the questions about my favorite movies, TV shows, etc. I don't want to date you, but I did want to take the survey.

Ir seems very long and to apply only to USA residents. Also it is difficult to see the relevance of some of the questions (e.g. where do you buy your groceries?). And the merits of numerous cars. I've no idea what qualities or otherwise cars have other than my own.
But in the survey's favour it is easy to run through and works well.

Make sure to spell check your project before you turn it in for grading. Even if your instructor may not downgrade you for poor English, faulty language skills leave a poor impression that may unconsciously adversely affect your grade.

We are in the initial research phase, so the goal for this survey is to get a general idea about who buys these vehicles, how they live their lives. We then will have a general persona for who we need to design for.

From what we learn from these surveys will also allow us to be more effective when we interview people face to face.

Wow, 200 views and only a fraction of people did the suvey :)
