Hi. My cruise control does not work, but there is a local scrap yard. What parts do I get from them? And is the repair doable by a non-mechanic?
With a scan tool, you can check for cruise control trouble codes, and you can also watch the live data to see if the on/off/set/resume/cancel switches, brake pedal switch, and so on, are responding to your inputs.
Does it do anything I've got one or two generations that will not resume and stuff like that but they hold speed if I set. One car will randomly let go just because but it's so rarely used these days .
