Dealer wants 200$ to program key fab

    Fob not fab. Can be done in 30 seconds if can find location of mechanical key insertion hole on/under dashboard. Anyone know where that super-secret-dealer-eyes-only location is on 2015 prius? Can't find it in handbook.

    Just paid $225 at a locksmith for a Pacifica smart key dupe (just bought 2023 used). I'd be curious.

    There is no secret location on a 2015, you just need a new keyfob and the correct software to program it. Techstream or similar will have those options.

    $200 sounds reasonable to me, if you don't have the software

    Now pretty inexpensive key tools will do toyoda's if n all of that vvdi max 259 bux 8.min process .
