Windshield Cracked 2016 Prius

    For no apparent reason my windshield has cracked. Is there any way I can make a claim with Toyota?

    yes, there is a customer service number in the o/m. give them a call, and ask for goodwill warranty.

    On a 10 YO car...you are not going to a Goodwill on a the windshield from Toyota.

    First of all, Toyota won't replace it - they will send you to a windshield repair place. At least that was my experience.

    I don't like badmouthing companies on here, my experience is just 1 datapoint, but if you go to Safelite, which many people will tell you to do, I highly recommend pricing out other options as well.

    There have been a good number of reports here, gen 4 windshields just starting to crack. Typically low, where the wipers park?
