Winter tires-fuel economy?

    Have a 2013 What would be my experience with winter tires, in terms of MPG for next winter?

    you probably lose 5 or 6 mpg

    Depends. Our case, going from 215/45R17 Michelin Primacy MXM4 all-seasons, to 195/65R15 Michelin Ice Snows, it's neck-and-neck, even with the colder temps and inclement weather. Those would be a good pick, they roll easy, have good road feel, and are very quiet. Maybe not the ultimate snow tire, but very good for us on the wet coast.
