Trouble reattaching windshield cowl back on 2019 Prius XLE

    Hey everyone,

    I replaced my struts which required a removal of the cowl under the windshield. My problem now, is that I'm having trouble attaching the plastic cowl to the rubber (what is the name of that?), but when I have, the cowl is sunk under the windshield. The rubber piece doesn't stay up, so there's an obvious gap.

    Any information is appreciated.

    I feel that.
    I first took mine off to access the coils & spark plugs. It has NEVER sat back where it is supposed to. Not after either windshield replacement, nor after other other reasons (struts replacement last fall) to remove/replace it. It will not stay where it belongs. At this point, I couldn't give a crap. Short of using some kind of adhesive, which seems a HORRIBLE idea, it just won't happen. Make peace with that.
