Is there any way to confirm whether an HV battery is good in a no-start Gen1? A G1 has shown up in the local pick-u-part. It doesn't appear to have any issues except a missing cat. Of course, it almost certainly won't turn on, probably doesn't even have the key. Any way to confirm short of removing and checking voltage on every module? Seems like I've asked this before, but forget the answers, or whether I even got any.
I'm not sure even doing that would tell you much of what you'd like to know. You'd be measuring static voltages on a bunch of modules that have been sitting there for however long.... You'd be essentially buying a pig in a poke, if you worked out a price where you'd be comfortable with that.
The last few I walked up to had tested like 195 V. But conditions of bus bars and nuts was poor I did not try to drop that in a vehicle and make it start. I just brought the assembly home and still sitting w that 193 in it now .
