Have 30,000 miles on my 2023 Prius XLE and starting to look for tires for the near future. Perhaps get a bargain price and store them in my garage but many places do not stock this size or Toyota has the market on them due to this unique size of 195 50 19. The local Toyota Dealer has a "sale" where you purchase 3 and get the 4th for $1.00 but then they add installation, wheel balance, and whatever other fees. Perhaps in a few months there will be another sale where you buy all four and they throw in free installation and wheel balance. It all comes out the same. The price per tire for the Buy 3 get the 4th for a dollars is $295. Looking elsewhere, if they have them are the Toyo fires with a 75,000 mile warranty for $179 per tire and the Michelin Primacy with a 45,000 mile warranty for $265 which doesn't make sense to me. Also which is the better tire? I would not even consider changing the wheel size to lower the price as some have suggested or done in earlier threads.
You will need to provide an exact model of each tire if you want a comparison. I've had both Toyo's and Michelin's in the past and each brand has it's strengths and weaknesses and so do the particular models. You don't say where you are and what type of driving you do or exactly what you are looking for from a tire other than cost. Buy the cheapest tire if that's what you find most important.
