How long does it take to get gas-tank/bladder to expand after shrinkage?

This is my spare 2007 Prius that has been unused for the past couple of years. I didn't have more than 2 gallons in the gas-bladder.

Now upon trying to fill-up the tank it shuts off very soon. I seem to be able to get about 5 gallons in. I've read other threads talking about this issue and that there is no real solution other than slowly trying to fill with gas and let the volume of the gas expand the tank.

Was wondering if using a gas-can rather than gas-pump to slowly put more and more gas in might work. As mentioned in many other threads the gas-pump shuts off too early. Also how long to expand the tank. Another thread said the gas tank will never go back to full capacity though.

you can try running the pump as slow as possible, and turning the handle 90 and 180 degrees.
there's no standard time for returning to normal, and if they do, it's usually a change of season.

Most cars wen I receive they cannot take fuel hardly at all . Withing 6 months in dropping 8.4 gal in one go at Sheetz. All 3 that I own now . Initially they'd stop at 2.4 gal then i could slowly get to maybe 7 gal. To stretch fill up car en route to work stuff it full slowly make sure caps good park in sun. All day at work . Do this almost daily for 4 months you will see a noticable difference in amount and speed at fill times. Then you'll be able to go 380 miles drop 8.4 on 1 go approx 110 seconds or close to it . Try it

    seems like its 50%

how do you manage having 3 prius' since they aren't like typical cars?

    I have two Gen 2s and a 3rd wrecked 2007 Prius.

thinking about getting rid of all of them tbh. Even the wrecked one I was told by my salvage yard that I can get 400-600 if I can tow it into the yard.

one of the other prius has bad battery modules that i'm trying to figure out what to do with.

the last prius is my current driving Prius. this is the one with the gas-tank issues. other small problems from lack of use I suppose. gonna try to get as many parts off the wrecked-prius before I get it towed to salvage.

If I can get decent pickup that's easy to work on I'd jump on it. Maybe a Toyota but even they are pretty expensive anymore even with their rust issues in particular.

yeah. I've thought about selling one of my prius (as is) or by parts. I do not know. this is just starting to get ridiculous having 3 Prius and looking like the street nutjob.

Probably gonna use my current prius to look for another car without battery/gas-bladder/actuator issues. IF I lived in warmer climate this nonsense might be OK but since its been cold as of this morning let alone the past long-winter I think I need to figure out how to declutter these cars not to mention all the rest of the junk I've accumulated.
