Yes. There are 28 individual modules, each 7.2 volts nominal. Typical in use voltage 7.5-8.x volts. Each pair of modules forms a block, which is measured for overall voltage. There are 14 blocks, each consisting of 2 modules => nominal voltage 14.4 volts. Typical "in use" voltage 15-16.x volts
Yes... Unlike lithium that requires a voltage monitor for every cell for safety, NiMH cells in Prius don't have that level of risk so there's only a voltage monitor for every 12 cells, or every two modules.
