I have an issue where the passenger door lock will intermittently not work, and I found motors fairly cheap, does anyone know if these are the correct motors and if they’re the same for all 4 doors?
While there is a known problem with Prius C door locks, I've never read of a problem on here with standard Prius... Can you explain your diagnostic method to determine the motor is the problem? As for buying the right part, because your car is 16 years old I'd recommend pulling the part as a complete assembly from a wrecked Prius to save time and hassle because just installing a motor you buy on the internet could have unforseen compatibility issues.
When the door won't unlock, I notice that the lock knob jerks slightly which looks like a weak motor. its very intermittent, it doesn't work one minute and then it's back to working perfectly for a while.
