Many areas scross the nation are quite liberal with car charge permits. Realistically tho - all you need is a 240 (30 - 40 amp) plug in your garage. Heck our, Tesla high power wall charger was originally hardwired but then it's more of a hassle moving it from location to location - so now it's equipped w/a 50 amp plug - adapters let it run on lower amp plugs - too

I went back to see the higher model Bolt again. And actually back seats do lay flat just by adjusting the middle headrest. Seats were a bit firm compared to lower models. But you can always add a seat cushion. Or softer car seat covers.

In my experience all a person really needs is a 120V-15A extension cord that can reach their car from their place of living. No garage, no 240V, and no fast-charging required.

At about 5 miles of range per hour of charging you get 50 miles per 10 hours of charging at night. Most people do not drive near that much each day.

Nice. I wasn't buying and they were already ready to offer 2-3k off the sticker price.

I installed L2 because I was constantly recharging the pip. but the bolt lives between 40-60%, and I only charge once a week.
