Looking for details on whether the setup has been tried and whether there were fitment issues.

Should work in theory. Outer diameter is close to the stock 19s, just considerably wider than stock so you will probably take a hit on the MPGs

It’s done. Clearance is good. I did have to trim back my front mid flaps, but only on the inside, so it’s not noticeable.

    Hi killergator

    One question,
If I change the rims what do I need to do with the TMPS^s ?
Do I need to buy a new ones and pair with the car, Or I can remove the current ones and put them in the new rims ?
    What is the procedure?
    Thanks

@Eduardito, you can take them off the OEM wheels and put them in the aftermarket wheels. Does Mexico requires TPMS? In Canada, they're not required so I sold my OEM wheels with the TPMS and put a black piece of tape over the TPMS warning light. Personally, I think TPMS sensors are more of a hassle than their worth; too delicate, expensive to replace, and you're lucky if they last 7-8 years before the batteries die, rendering them useless. I just check my pressure every couple weeks, takes 5 minutes.

Yes, it works fine. I’ve 225/50R18 Michelin Crossclimate 2’s mounted on a set of Tirerack’s store brand wheels 18X8 5-114 ET38 so offset is 38mm instead of 40 but it’s been over a year and there are zero issues. Ride is great and its handles very well, feeling very planted in all situations. And, if it matters, this is on a Prime.

It may have been noted elsewhere, but I did have to argue with the Costco Tire Supervisor to mount them. The previous tire was WIDER and they were insistent that they weren’t a compatible tire and they weren’t going to do it. In the end they relented, but maybe expect that if you go to a chain place.
