I'm working on controllable LED lights for my rear license plate (basically if I'm above 50km/h, LED lights brighten to maximum, and if below would be "standard" brightness), but I am having trouble figuring out if there ever was (or is, depending on your trim level) a CAN bus tap located either in the tailgate (behind the felt access panel) or near tailgate. Looking through the electrical wiring diagram doesn't help much, and going off the colors on the wiring harness is dicey. Can anyone with more expertise/experience guide me on this? Thanks.
