Hi everyone, got my first engine light! I used my Veepeak scanner for the first time and downloaded a app for the phone. I received the following codes P0015(93), P0123, P0301 and P1693. What am I looking at here, possible throttle cleaning in the works. Thx
Google search for P0015(93) mentions cam timing, timing chain. P0301 is for misfire cylinder one, which is VERY common with gen 3's and v's with head gasket failure. What's the miles and how long have you had it?
Mileage is at 196k km, I bought it in 2021. I've added a oil catcher to help with the cylinder 1 common problems. I could clear the codes to see what happens.
Cleared the codes, got a code for high voltage for oxygen sensor. No P301, coolant level is holding at full!
Always better to tell us the actual code rather than a description. Easy to look up the right code and get the details. Harder working backward.
