Before I buy one to try it out, does anyone know if a gen 3 or gen 4 shift knob can replace the gen 5 knob? I know the gen 5 looks “nicer” but one of the first things I noticed in my car was that they did away with the clear-ish blue knob and I want it back.
There’s a thread going about custom 5th gen shifter knob, started by @Georgina Rudkus, your question was raised, and apparently not compatible, different thread diameter and pitch.
I was wondering the same thing. The Fifth gen's is nice, very nice But the Fourth Gen's just looks cooler and blue. I cannot seem to find this other thread though.
