Is this the correct battery for my 2017 Prius 2? Part# 00544-H4470-TS TrueStart H4 (EN) The Toyota dealer parts site claims it's an exact fit for my Prius. My dealership is now part of the dealer network. I have a 25% off coupon. This appears to be the new battery for the Gen 4 Prius. Does anybody have any experience with this specific battery?
I decided to go cheap and AGM. I ordered the UPLUS group 140R 50Ah H4 LN1 battery on Amazon. It should arrive by early next week. I know the UPLUS battery has been well regarded on the forum. I know several forum members went the UPLUS route in 2024. Any known issues?
My fuel economy in city has gone way up. My hybrid battery is running at much higher charge levels. I am starting to think that the 12v battery should be replaced much more often than people have been changing their 12v. I have to finish a tank of gas before I come to any real conclusions. Getting 60mpg on a 10 mile trip with elevation changes in the 100ft range.
