Is there a reason why they would be in my Prius and not my other electric and hybrid cars that I also park outside? Also, how effective do you think this might be? The only effective solution is to get rid of the rodents. if your afraid of their nest you won't want to set or clean up traps. Use the green poison cubes. Which is what cities use when a problem is reported. The wiring insulation in some areas is soy based making it more attractive. But rodents can get into the cabin even with screens and once under the dash your done.

You mean soy insulation is specific to Prius and draws mice and the spray doesn't work? It got a ton of stars.
The spray works. Not the specific one that you mention, but a different one with peppermint oil that I've used for years. The electronic detergents don't work.
Ok will spell it out. They like vehicles that don't get used. They love soy as it is a food. Protecting under the dash is the hard part and it is an extremely complex group of wires and difficult to repair. Getting rid of the rodents is easier. A few outside cats that you feed and shelter might help as well.
No particular product is necessary. Any of the rodent, rabbit or deer repellant sold in garden centers containing peppermint oil will work. I bought two gallons on clearance at Walmart over five years ago. It's still good.
