I now remember seeing that video.

I would still get rid of the charging lock out and the charging receptacle and simply use the P3648 charger.

the dc house and eco worthy are exactly the same size. must be the same mfg, or they are made to the same spec.
dc house is listed as a bit longer because of the brackets he cuts off. one less thing to do with the eco worthy.

I just saw your earlier post on the company and size

he uses reducing studs from M8 to M6 because of the eyelet size, an elegant solution

The only difference seems to be the ?start=354 at the end of bisco's link.

    Shouldn't that just be ?t=354

If I remember right, youtube will also accept the slightly more human-readable form ?t=5m54s

The better solution is to enlarge the hole to 8mm with a round file. The soft copper lug is easy to enlarge,

More connections mean more chances to fail due to heating form increased resistance.

The adapter might bottom out and also cause a loose connection.

When I got to that point, I taped a sandwich bag over the blue and white connectors and hosed off all the dirt.

You will be fine as long as you wait a couple of days for everything to dry out.

Also put the little white connector for the controller charger lock out in the bag.

should I leave the battery fully charged from week to week, and what about overwintering? it is in an unheated barn, and we can get some sub zero temps which will bring the temp down into the teens at times.

The battery comes with a guide.

I charge it up to 100% and use the mower until the charge goes down to 50% before recharging. You can safely go down to also low as 30%.

Over the winter long term storage should be at about 70%.

You should keep the battery above freezing over the winter. If you put the mower in a barn with lower temperatures, I run an extension cord out there with a small safe space heater like one of those oil filled radiator types.
