Okay.. Looking good here. I got the trunk handle (bezel) gate done last night, dry it up 24 hours, installed and working great. Now I'm on the LED surgery. So far its going slow, smooth and happening. My question is in getting rid of the HiD socket-wire-ballast. Looks like its gonna take some time to get this out in one piece. Should I tear it apart or should I cut the wire clean right in the middle and kiss it bye-bye? see pics.... The new LED light fits right on the money.. No gasket or o-ring in the package??? edited: Wire connection. I ran my 60 watt soldering iron for connections, I just cut the connecting wire, slide the 2 LED wire terminals and drank some silver solder just in seconds.. PS: Let me know if I need to cut the ballast wire so I can remove the old hid socket
I'll trail this one here too which I posted somewhere. I popped in a new replacement / conversion bulb from HiD to LED on my 2007. Its running fine beside I need a little adjustment on the right side headlight pointing a little outside to the right. First off I didn't know a car like this has a headlight auto adjustment. I don't even know what it is? Anyways what is the right way to do this? Thanks, CCG
One by one getting there. The hybrid battery is done. Trunk gate is done. HiD to LED headlight is almost done. Just needs a slight focusing on right side which I need to ask you guys how to do it the right way. The rear spoiler wing repaint is done. I just need to install it tomorrow.
