I don't want to buy new calipers because of environmental reasons not cost. With that in mind. I have already rebuilt most of my rear calipers but ran into an issue with the gromets on the parking brake section. After getting it all apart there is a snap ring that sits inside of the caliper, I've purchased about 4 different pliers and none have done the job for me.

Has anyone done this before? I am considering trying the angled pliers next but am tired of buying ones that just don't fit. I've returned what I can but am looking for some solid advice here. The main issue is there is very little space to work with here and it's round so long story short i'm struggling and need help!!

I don't know what to suggest. Some years ago when I noticed that Toyota's caliper rebuild rubber kits don't include any replacement seals for the parking lever shaft, I assumed that meant there would be some sort of difficulty involved there.
