So, I've purchased 3 hybrid batteries (at VERY fair prices) from wrecked 2025 vehicles over the last month to rebuild some Gen 2 batteries. These were all from 2025 Mazda CX50 hybrids, where the hybrid drivetrain was supplied by Toyota. I believe they're essentially identical to the Rav4 hybrid battery. I decided to look these up online and wanted to share this information with the forum. These batteries have 34 NIMH modules, more than enough for a Prius and even enough for a Camry. Camry batteries are notoriously tough to rebuild well due to the abuse a Camry puts on the battery.

The price sure seems right, but I didn't do any additional investigating. Strangely, there is nothing mentioned about a core fee, so IDK about that either. No sites I went to and did simulated checkouts asked for a core fee.

the 20XB model was superseded by this one, so it can be searched also. Going by the "photos" this item is only the case, modules and clamping bars. No busbars or cables, but it's hard to tell for sure. If all you want is BRAND NEW modules, this could be the ticket to success.
