    Hello All,

Our 2017 Prius C One (87K miles ) one fine day started showing the following warning messages : Lane Departure Warning, Headlight Malfunction and Pre-Collision Warning, See Dealer.

In about a day or two, it came with a squelching electronic noise hear the driver side dash which died down in a day and was replaced with a crackling noise ( like the one from a badly tuned radio or tv ).

Not knowing any better, my wife took the car to the dealer who diagnosed the problem to be a bad camera and the cost to replace and calibrate it would be $4K. ( California )

After we got it home, it took the wire out of the camera and the crackling nose stopped. I was going to take the camera apart to see if I can diagnose the problem is but could not find instructions on how to do remove the camera from the windshield mount. Does anyone know? I've attached a few pictures of the camera in its mount on the windshield.

    Thanks in advance
