FOR SALE: 2010 Toyota Prius II – Original Owner – $2,500 OBO

    • 235,xxx miles
    • Original owner
    • Clean title in hand
    • Runs and drives
    • Registration current
    Known Issues:

    • Check Engine Light is on. Vehicle will likely need a hybrid (HV) battery replacement.
    • Received a quote of approximately $1,200 from a Sacramento independent hybrid shop for a refurbished HV battery.
    • TPMS light is on due to aging TPMS sensor batteries.
    Condition:

    • Clean vehicle overall for its age.
    • Well maintained throughout ownership.
    • Driven very little in recent years — only about 3,000 miles since 2020.
    • Interior and exterior are in good condition.
I have decided to sell the vehicle as-is rather than replace the hybrid battery.

    Asking $2,500 OBO
    Car located at Stockton CA

Great opportunity for someone looking for an inexpensive commuter, a Prius enthusiast, or anyone comfortable replacing the HV battery and getting many more miles out of the car.

Clean title in hand. Serious inquiries only.

FWIW: Ca state law makes the "owner" responsible for the CEL. You can get around this by selling it as a parts car. Your still responsible on an "as-is sale", last time I checked. If the bill of sale states it's a parts car - that's your "out" w/o repercussions.

    Good Luck.....
