Truly this is what has been missing from the driving experience. Video playing on the multimedia head unit. It definitely will not be distracting to drivers who are already barely paying attention. Really looking forward to all this.

And what precisely do you need to watch on the car's screen that can't wait?

Was I the only one who read it? Video playback only works when parked.

My comment wasn't limited to watching videos while the car was in motion.

The main screen in most cars is not in the ideal position for watching videos. Then the phone's display is likely better than what the car company picked for showing HVAC controls.

No, it's actually pretty good. Barely below eye level. And if you've got the 12.3" screen, the size is pretty good. I believe it shows videos in at least 720p, maybe 1080, so the resolution is just as good as what you see on your phone. And you can relax and not have to hold your phone while watching something.

(I have my display set up to watch/listen to YouTube videos on highway drives. Mostly long form stuff like Drachinifel, Perun, D&D games, or movies/TV shows I've watched many times so I only have to listen to the audio.)
