This Iranian regime should have been delt with decades ago....they were not. What I'm hearing from some here is that you think we should have done nothing and let this terrorist country carry on as they have been doing all along. Prove me wrong.

$3.54 today at our Costco....I'm waiting for $3.25 before bringing down the Tundra to fill her up.

 

There is a joke to be found in there somewhere about rational vs. irrational but I'm just not seeing it at the moment.

My wife just showed me a coupon for a $4.99 6" Subway sandwich. Which was the price of a 12" sandwich in 2008 (and for quite a while after that.)

 

We very seriously squandered our credibility and any good will when we "dealt with" their fledgling democracy back in 1953, forcing them back into an authoritarian regime. Most of the population has had no reason to love or trust us ever since.

 

Most of us would have preferred that when the the US "did something" that it was well planned, well executed, well coordinated with our allies, cost effective, and furthered our goals. This operation was none of those things. When things went poorly the clown show which is the Trump administration could only throw tantrums and lie and lie and lie. Trump has no comprehension that having spent most of this term insulting and literally threatening all of our allies that they in turn would be more than willing to let him hang himself. Unfortunately he's taking the rest of the world along for the ride. This is the difference between a war run by a man baby like Trump and a professional exercise like the first Gulf war, which was run by a competent adult, Geoge HW Bush.
