I have a few gen 2 prii and the 12v seems a source of much frustration always. On my f150 (rarely driven) I have a disconnect device to allow me to save the battery during times of non-use. I wonder if something like that would be helpful for the prius. Thanks to all for the excellent feedback over the years. Cheers

There's all kinds of those things there's even some modern batteries that automatically shut off the power going out of 12V after ? X time or load seen etc . You get back to the car everything seems dead you cycle power button twice etc and car boots and works etc you drive it te charges to X level and ready to do all over again. Their are stand alone boxes that do similar . A battery tender like motorcycle drivers been using for 45 years . Same for snowmobiles .

sure, it's the same with any vehicle. you lose radio presets and such, but no big deal
