Has anyone successfully retrofitted 2012-2015 taillights onto a 2016+ or vice versa? I want to put the early mostly clear style lights on my 2016 because I prefer the look, as far as I can tell it should be a plug and play affair from looking at pictures of the connectors on both.
Turns out they are a direct plug and play swap. I bought a pair at the junk yard and tested them, buffed them crystal clear and I'm going to put a light smoke film on before installing them. If anyone wants facelifted taillights reach out to me mine are still in perfect shape.
