Hello everyone! I just bought a new 2026 Prius Plug-in XSE last week after I had had enough of paying for gas and repairs on my old 2010 Ford Fusion. Spent a couple of months looking at cars, doing research, and pricing them out, and I never even considered the Prius because it always seemed like a more expensive Corolla. I was about a week away from pulling the trigger on a Mazda3 or a Civic Hybrid. But then I realized there were $7500 in rebates and incentives here on the Prius Plug-ins, and there was only one possible choice for me to make after that. I'm looking forward (sarcasm?) to the next year of fiddling with the car until I get it just right. Already removed the DCM and disabled the silly red LED strip in the dash yesterday. Now I'm working on the mics and driver facing camera, and trying to find a deal on wheels for winter tires and next summer (the OEM 19"s are the worst tire size of all time). Anyways, I'm glad there's so much great info here and hope I can contribute what I learn from fiddling around!
