Sis & Mom moved from dry L.A. County a couple years ago to ~1hr east of Pittsburgh PA. She said yesterday it was mid 90°s & equally high humidity. WOOHOO! Had to tease her saying you could have moved near our Nashville home if you wanted weather like that
yep, closing in on 100 today, but it's the humidity that's the killer. makes ac less effective as well. it's cooler in Florida
It's always so odd the way people get upset because they sh*t the bed and then they'd rather argue about who's responsible and also argue that people complain too much about stuff they aren't going to address rather than just cleaning up the mess and promising not to do it again. How did humanity become so degenerate and inconsiderate about the world they leave behind for the next generation?
If you think climate change is a hoax and 115' degree temperatures in the eastern US is nothing to be concerned about, just fake news, then yes... I am indeed posting in the wrong thread.
current Washington DC weather 99 °F°C Precipitation: 0% Humidity: 45% Wind: 4 mph Weather Thursday 2:00 PM Sunny
Don't play stupid with me... Or maybe you're just gaslighting? To be clear the highest temperature ever recorded in Washington D.C. was 106 °F (41.1 °C), which occurred on July 20, 1930. Or maybe you're just a frog about to boil in water who's too stupid to jump out to save your life, the life of loved ones and life as we know it on the only planet we have to live on? I wonder how many of the 8 billion of us are just as resigned to living on a dead planet because they "have no way of knowing" what a living planet looks like?
Frogs don't boil in water. Contrary to often misquoted fake news, frogs do have the good sense to get out of the hot water as it increases in temperature Boiling frog - Wikipedia Global warming? Yeah temperatures warm over the millennia, then cools, then does it again. Man-made? Sorry the jury is still out.
Can you please post the actual link to the article you're referencing? To not do so is extremely unhelpful! I entered the title into a search engine and found nothing, which means @bisco and all the other suicidal climate change deniers are going to pretend like they "have no way of knowing" if your post is fake or not.
We went water skiing around Lake havasu, mid-90s and it was in the 120°s. 3 decades ago? Hasn't been that hot there since. So are we in a "man-made" cooling trend? No one's denying that climate changes. heck, Glaciers Used to nearly come down south to Tennessee. Long before mankind had anything to do with extra CO2. Now? Even the Northwest Passage is more navigable to shipping. Just because an acorn hits you in the head doesn't mean the sky is falling.
