The original latch actuator on my 2010 crapped out about a year ago and I finally ordered a replacement. the replacement lasted 2 days and the actuator stuck in the open position. After removing and inspecting I believe it is a case of a defective piece slipping under quality control’s nose but wanted to post here to see if you guys might have any insight. a replacement latch assembly is on its way and I put the old lock that crapped out in the meantime so the hatch does not fly open
Do you have any useful information or are you just wanting to demean another poster because they don’t have oem money to keep their 300,000 mile plus Prius on the road? Not looking for an argument or fight but your answers always seem to be OEM or it’s trash.
It was a simple question that was asked. Why not just answer the question that was asked. Why get all bent out of shape.
