Happy 250th Birthday USA a big thank you to all who have contributed to our country ...especially to the many veterans who have given years of their lives in service and in some cases much more to our county! ..in our small town there will be parades with public officials and local community members, free ice cream and activities all day capped by a fireworks display honoring America.. Grand Marshals of the parade are former Veterans ....Patriotism, love of country and belief in the American Dream are all very much alive in small towns all over the USA, today more than ever.... As one of our Great Presidents - John F. Kennedy said...... "Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country" is a call to civic responsibility and public service, famously delivered by John F. Kennedy in his 1961 inaugural address." ....rings as true today as it did back then....
