There was a July 4th sale for 50% off everything so I got these headlights because they were only $10 a light. very clean new lens so don't have to clean/polish mine.

problem is they were installed with HID xenon bulbs. I was thinking of taking them out but not sure if its worth it. The HID-kit seems to be a cheap one off of amazon. Not sure if they are fixable but all the parts seem to be there. I guess there might be another wire that goes to the battery 12V but not sure.

BTW: it seems that moisture corrodes these bulbs very quickly thats why whomever owned this car used glue to seal the headlight. Seems like a bit of overkill but I'd have to take them out if I used regular bulbs.

should I try out HID xenon bulbs or not.... what would you do?

Use them until they fade then all that stuff will pull right out that silicone will just pull up . Those are halogen after market housings with cheap hid . When they fail change over to LED
