I'll be damned -- haven't seen one since mid-Y2Ks, and mid-'90s before that (oddly enough, at a PX in Germany). Still being minted? WT f*** is that all about?

Wanna get rid of some waste printing currency? Get rid of those, even the $100 bank-only stacks (which cost $100 to the account holder, I'm assuming).

Used to see them a lot more before mid-'90s (esp in '80s, prior to serving)... but as before, haven't seen one in this increasingly cashless society decades now. If it's just for prop use (unless it actually serves a purpose for the banks themselves -- which would make me question their need if simply requesting buy them, gets you 50 for a Franklin)... why even keep them current? Esp with need for increasingly better security functions in all bills, including Washingtons
