hazard lights not turning on?

Hey fellow Prius drivers. I recently bought a gen 3 Prius. When I was checking it out I forgot to check the hazard lights. they don't turn on. I believe the fuse and relay are the same for the blinkers which work fine. I removed the center panel andThe switch looks ok. I even pull out the top of the dashboard and checked the connector there. It seems fine as well. Any ideas would be appreciated!
