I'm a huge fan of Lion's Mane mushrooms and just yesterday I read an article on how not cooking your mushrooms thoroughly enough can make you sick. And also it goes without saying that even if you cook mushrooms enough you're at risk of death if you eat something incorrectly identified. And that's a great tracking method to stay out of trouble with the CCP... Here in the US you need to kill people before there's an investigation.
