Announcements were made on the Toyota site and not the Pressroom site, yet.
    2027 Toyota Prius | Toyota.com
    2027 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid | Toyota.com

Both are expected out sometime in the Fall of this year.
Not too many differences that I can see outside Connected Services, Exterior and Interior
    • New Ink color instead of the Midnight Black Metallic
    • Remote Connect is now a 5-year trial subscription instead of the 1-year trial subscription on the 2026 models.
    • Drive Connect is now a 3-month trial subscription on upper trims instead of the 1-year trial subscription on the 2026 models.
    • Dual zone climate control is now standard across all trims.
    • Starting price for Prius is now $28,755, a $205 increase over the 2026 Prius.
    • Starting price for the 2027 Prius Plug-in Hybrid is now $33,980, also a $205 increase over the 2026 Prius Plug-in Hybrid.

Last car we bought - that now has trial subscription junk was a tesla, & that was back when it (music - web access - autopilot etc) was all permanently free. LOL - even supercharging was free, which we did less than 10% of the time - as driving is/was mostly local (under 200mi RT). Charge for subscriptions?? We're out of there. W'd have to purchase a ½ decade old car nowadays to get something sold prior to all of this subscription junk that we'd never pay for. Good time to get old. No wonder less & less people are buying brand new

Well in all honesty, subscription services are for something you want but not particularly need. So far my '21 Taco and '18 NX 300h came with subscription services that I no longer use and haven't for a few years now. Both vehicles work fine without them and my phone replaces a lot of subscription functionality. Better to have others pay for subscription services they want than to bake them into the cost of the car.

I just let it expire after the free trial.

More Remote Connect and less Drive Connect? Sounds like Toyota wants to get in on some of that sweet smartphone-data-tracking money...

Very disappointing. No significant updates or upgrades.

The first YouTube video for the completely remodeled 5th Generation 2023 Toyota Prius appeared on the Toyota YouTube channel on December 14, 2022. That was 43 months ago.

Not even a mid-cycle refresh. The only new features are "Dual-Zone HVAC for enhanced cabin comfort and introduces Inked, a new black exterior color."

Will there be a mid-cycle refresh after 55 months?

Perhaps refreshes are a concept of pre-COVID days.
