    I remember Ford also offering a vehicle to home charger for the Lightning that would allow automatic switch over during a power outage.

    .....welp.....in that case their "Lightning" may be aptly named.

    In my experience most people who keep their full sized trucks in a garage don't really need full sized trucks - although for the princely sum that they're being charged for a range limited pickup that sucks at towing it might as well be useful for SOMETHING. ;)

    somewhat practical uses for an EV like the one included in your post are the best advertisements how EV's can be useful to consumers in certain situations and are better sales drivers than all the artificial government stimulators in the world.
