    Hate to burst the bubble of fauci fans but since he was pardoned, his testimony can be compelled. Now he is facing contempt for refusing to answer and invoking the fifth
    Sure, they don't teach High School Civics anymore but thems is one of the things they taught.

    At least he responded to his Congressional subpoena by showing up before the Committee.

    Jim Jordan (R-OH) did not. And was not charged with contempt.
    Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) did not. And was not charged with contempt.
    Scott Perry (R-PA) did not. And was not charged with contempt.
    Andy Biggs (R-AZ) did not. And was not charged with contempt.
    Mo Brooks (R-AL) did not. And was not charged with contempt.

    Some facts and data:
    1. The pardon applies only if a judge decides that Dr. Fauci was not at risk of criminal proceedings. That illusion evaporates as soon as he and his lawyers meet with the judge.
      1. The "contempt" accusation is exhibit one of his defense to the Judge.
      2. This is reinforced by transcripts of the Republican "questions."
    Expected, the Trump administration will try to pursue charges. But after the failure of the "8642" sea shells, Comey's accusation, Trump/Republican contempt for common sense, law and decency is obvious. They do have their versions of Judge Julius Hoffman (i.e. Chicago 8.)

    So help my fever dream come true: the Republicans run on the July 29 hearings. Do you see evidence it would persuade voters who skipped the 2024 election?

    Voters who are paying more Yankee Greenback Dollars, their reward for not voting in 2024.
