My old gen2 prius remote key fob has died, and I have a few Switchbot bots laying around. Thinking of using one to unlock my car door. Has anyone actually tried that? And wondering if there are any security concerns. These bots use Bluetooth low energy.

What the capabilities is modern tooling has now reading all the IMMO data and it's related hex coding . You should be able to program multiple various types of toys to unlock / open you're systems . It's a pretty basic proximity system ID4 I think it is .
