their loving them, great cars, but a word of caution: a whole new size and shape, you want a test drive to make sure you're comfortable in the cabin.

So far I've sat in one, at the dealership. Not overly impressed. It's a little more cramped, compared to our gen 3. Deal breaker for me is the completel lack of spare, and tools, and the outlandish wheel/tire choices. And the price.

Traded in my 2022 Prius LE for a 2026 Prius Plug in XSE Premium. They gave me 87% of what I paid for the car as a trade in!
Have had it less than a week. Compared to the 2022 it is much lower and harder to get into and out of. The roof level is 2 inches lower than the 2022. To me the sight lines in the car with the camera rear view mirror are quite good. This is my 4th Prius and all the others had huge blind spots on all four corners (worst thing about those cars). It seems that every new Prius has less storage space and this car is no exception. Larger battery takes up some "trunk" space. No pocket behind the drivers seat!? I bought an organizer for the back of the driver's seat to compensate. Car seems huge to me compared to the 2022. It weighs about 300 pounds more because of the battery. All my other Priuses felt pretty tinny. Shut the door and they kind of vibrated. The 2026 feels solid and tight like a Mercedes. Car is a lot faster than the 2022 but I have really only driven it on EV mode even up to 80 MPH. I agree with what Mendel said, you will want to test drive this car to make sure you like the experience.
